Content Creation Process
1. Research & Data Collection
All nutrition data is sourced directly from the USDA FoodData Central database. We reference specific FDC IDs for every data point to ensure traceability and verifiability.
2. Expert Review
Every tool, calculator, and data point is personally reviewed by Manish Kumar, our founder who holds NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Specialist credentials.
3. Cross-Verification
Nutrition values are cross-referenced against multiple sources including peer-reviewed research papers on cooking nutrient retention, ensuring our cooking method multipliers are scientifically sound.
4. Regular Updates
We periodically verify our data against the latest USDA releases and update any values that have changed. All pages include a “Last Updated” indicator.
